In carrying out daily activities, FKUB Physiology Science Laboratory led by a Head of the Laboratory who is directly responsible to the Dean FKUB. Head of the Laboratory of Physiology FKUB assisted by general administrative staff, academic administrative staff, laboratory staff financial administration, personnel in charge of Education, Responsible to research, as well as responsible corporate the  citizenship.

Main Tasks and Functions Organization Structure Laboratory of Physiology Faculty of Medicine, University of Brawijaya (FKUB)

Accordance with Organizational Structure FKUB Physiology Laboratory Science, the following are the main duties and functions of the organization structure.

A.  Head of Laboratory

Function:

Planner, coordinator, as well as in charge of monitoring and evaluation of all activities of education-teaching, research, and community service.

Being the top management for the implementation of the Quality Assurance System that is integrated with the Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2008.

The principal tasks:

  1. Responsible for the implementation of laboratory tasks and report it to the Dean FKUB.
  2. Develop any master plan and working program to guide the implementation of the task.
  3. Coordinating, planning, monitoring and evaluating of the implementation of laboratory activities appropriate business processes and budgets.
  4. Attending events / invitations and make decisions represent every decision that has been approved in the meeting of the laboratory staff.

 

B.  Administration Staff

Function:

Person in charge of the entire administration of educational activities / teaching.

Main Tasks:

  1. Assist the PJP (Responsible to the Education) for the administration of each learning activity.
  2. Facilitate for Lectures and practices in means of implementation of education.
  3. Receiving and announced schedule lectures, laboratory & lecture of the academic to the faculty and students.
  4. Helping reporting attendance learning activities.
  5. Assist implementation of the examination.

 C. PJP (Responsible to the Education)

Function:

Person in charge and coordinator of planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities of education and teaching of medicine and health sciences.

Main Tasks:

  1. Planning the schedule of teaching / tutorial / practices of medicine and health sciences with the approval of the Head of the Laboratory of Physiology and PJMKIlmu for each block / semester.
  2. To monitor and evaluate all educational activities and teaching of medicine and health sciences and to report the results of the evaluation to the Head of the Laboratory.
  3. Make decisions for regarding the amount and type of exam and examination (in coordination with PJMK block/semester).
  4. Responsible for the storage any exam of Physiology Science.
  5. Responsible for all results of ​​ examination of Physiology Science in each block / semester.
  6. Attending meetings / workshops on education and teaching.

D. Person in Charge in for Research

Function:

Person in charge and coordinator of planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of research activities.

The principal tasks:

  1. Make arrangements to schedule the use of laboratory research for undergraduate / postgraduate /PhD students medicine and health sciences, faculty and other researchers with the approval of the Head of the Laboratory of Physiology Sciences.
  2. To coordinate research activities at the Laboratory of Physiology.
  3. To monitor the activities of the research in the Laboratory of Physiology Sciences.
  4. To evaluate each research activity in the laboratory of Physiology and report the evaluation results to the Head of the Laboratory.
  5. Fostering research collaborations with other institutions.

E. Administration Laboratory

Function:

To help to manage the administration in the implementation of student research activities.

The principal tasks:

  1. Registering a user / researcher who will conduct research in the Laboratory of Physiology.
  2. Guiding researchers to forward the information and confirmations to analysts about the kind of workmanship, use of materials and equipment to be used.
  3. Demanding data entry work done at the Laboratory of Physiology Sciences.
  4. Receiving  results of laboratory work and make reports and research analysts work per day or per month.
  5. Processing bills of materials and use of tools as well as the type of work that has been done analysts during the study. Forward the information to the Head of the Laboratory of Physiology, if any filing made ​​by the researcher.
  6. Processing the payment of the cost of research either installment or repayment.
  7. Submit work laboratory to the researcher.

F. Logistics

Function:

To help the process of the administration of the use of materials and tools for the implementation of student research activities.

Main Tasks:

  1. inventory of consumable materials and equipment, checking stock of materials and tools.
  2. Providing and preparing materials and consumables tool for research.
  3. Data entry and any material of disposable equipment.

G. Technician / Analyst

Function:

To assist any process of research and practicum students / another researcher  in the Tridharma implementation and community service.

Main Tasks:

  1. Make a confirmation study with researchers working on a deal ranging from processing time, availability of equipment and materials, and a description of the working procedure in Faculty of Medicine, Laboratory of Physiology.
  2. Prepare the research in the Laboratory of Physiology.
  3. Determine the materials and tools used.
  4. Carry out research in the Laboratory of Physiology.
  5. Make any working data entry performed during the study.
  6. Perform any research results data entry in the Laboratory of Physiology.

H. Person in charge for Community Services

Function:

Manage of planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of community service activities.

The principal tasks:

  1. Program planning, schedule and funding any community service activities.
  2. To coordinate, monitor, and evaluate any community service activities and report to the Head of the Laboratory evaluation results.
  3. Responsible for the dissemination of developmental physiology  to the public through website FKUB, blogs, or the manufacture and distribution of brochures.
