Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Education Project, adhesion 2016 is an event organized by the Asian Medical Student Association (AMSA-Brawijaya) as a follow up of annual events / Event of the Year AMSA Indonesia, which this year takes the theme, ADHD: I ‘ m Not A Monster. In general, the event aims to raise awareness of us as students of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) to children with special needs such as ADHD and also provide socialization and understanding to the public that these children are intelligent and loved just as we are and not to be shunned or in enmity.
This activity was held on 15-16 April 2016 at the Institute for Children with Special Needs Therapy (ABK) A-Plus and SD Brawijaya Smart School Malang.
The event begins with the adhesion Volunteer Recruitment Open is open to all students FKUB on 24 to 31 March 2016. Volunteer OR received a pretty good response to the election of 20 Volunteer consisting of forces from 2013 to 2015 from various departments in FKUB. Subsequently, on April 10 at the same briefing held brief explanation related adhesion activities. Volunteers are also given a picture related to the nature and behavior of children with ADHD by a committee with the aim to improve understanding and to increase confidence when children accompany ADHD.
Adhesion Day 1 held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Institute for Therapy ABK A-Plus is located at JL. Salatiga No. 2 Malang. The event was opened by the Chief Executive Zulfa Radatul Jannah and followed by a speech by the Principal once Own Organization Mrs. Indra. Events at 13.00 with material activities and practices handwashing to 10 children with ADHD. The enthusiasm of these children very well and follow directions brothers volunteers who provide material and accompany the current practice of hand washing. After hand washing practices, children together volunteers headed out of the room to play games such as Hula Hoop, Guessing pictures of animals and Relay newspaper. After the play, the children rest and snack time for bonding at the same time to volunteer to become acquainted with the brothers.
After resting, the event continued with a coloring contest for children accompanied by a volunteer. This event is quite festive because of the enthusiasm of ADHD children high in coloring. After coloring competition, the event continued with games like the Dragon in length and Develop glasses of mineral water. In the final session of the event, announced awards / winners to all ADHD children with the aim of giving appreciation for having followed the event on this day with vigor. After the award presentation session, continued singing session and photo session with ADHD children, the Committee, Volunteer and Teacher and Principal of the Institute Therapy ABK A-Plus. The event was also closed its adhesion Day 1 ended at 17.00
On the next day, Saturday, April 16, 2016, 2016 Adhesion activities carried out in SD Brawijaya Smart School precisely in class IV and V. On day 2 of this adhesion, Volunteer and Committee do counseling about ADHD or ADHD Campaign to students of class IV and V SD with the aim to increase understanding and awareness of ADHD. In addition, we also seek to foster the mindset elementary students that ADHD children not to be shunned and despised as they are with all of them and also have exceptional intelligence. The event begins at 7:00 Puku that briefing and committee volunteer technical related events and materials delivered during counseling. After the briefing, exactly at 08:00 we headed their respective classes to implement this extension activities. Once acquainted, we started counseling with Eat Bulaga game where a student is asked to guess the word associated with ADHD assisted by his friend to give a clue. BSS elementary students enthusiastically participated in the game. After the game, the participants introduce things that are associated with ADHD. ranging from traits to appeal to not antagonize or away from their friends who are ADHD

In order not to get bored, event continued with the Hang Man game, where students were invited to guess the things associated with ADHD so that a better understanding of the material provided. The next session is to watch videos related to ADHD and video story when adhesion Day 1, so that these children have an overview of the behavior and characteristics of children ADHD.Selanjutnya, there is the most active sister award to each class and ends with snack time. Snack time after completion, participants pointed to the students to give the conclusion of the lessons they get today. At the end of the photo session with students in each class as a keepsake and campaigns that they support children with ADHD. Events adhesion Day 2 ended with a session handover memento in the form of Vandel and parcel of the committee was represented by the Chief Executive, Zulfa raudatul Jannah to representatives of elementary school Brawijaya Smart School Malang and concluded with a group photo of participants, students and teachers
