Integrity Zone (ZI) is a title awarded to government institutions, including Universitas Brawijaya (UB), which are committed to creating a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Service-Oriented Bureaucratic Area (WBBM). The purpose of establishing ZI is to enhance the capacity and accountability of the organization, create a government free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN), improve the quality of public services, and prevent corruption, collusion, and nepotism. The development of ZI requires strong dedication from all leadership and staff, including lecturers and educational staff. The development of ZI focuses on 6 areas, namely:
- Change management
- Organizational governance restructuring
- Human resources management restructuring
- Strengthening performance accountability
- Strengthening supervision
- Improving the quality of public services
