According to Dr. Dian, each product displayed represents the strength of interdisciplinary collaboration and FKUB’s commitment to advancing national health technology development.

In addition to the product exhibition, the event also marked the introduction of the FKUB Innovation Hub. The Chairperson of the FKUB Innovation Hub, Dr. Domy Pradana Putra, Sp.OT, explained that the hub serves as a collaborative space for lecturers, students, and researchers to develop ideas and produce innovative health products. He noted that the Innovation Hub is expected to act as a bridge between academic research and industrial needs, ensuring that ideas emerging from the university can be implemented in real-world applications to benefit society.

The FKUB Innovation Hub will provide comprehensive facilities for the development of medical device prototypes, testing, and technology-based training. In addition to serving the Universitas Brawijaya academic community, the hub is also designed to collaborate with external partners, such as startups, hospitals, and industries that share a common vision in advancing medical innovation.

Through this event, DIKST UB and FKUB hope to cultivate a sustainable culture of innovation within the university environment and strengthen Universitas Brawijaya’s position as a leading center for research and health technology development in Indonesia. [Laely]
