Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, Holds Workshop on the Preparation of the 2025 Management Review Document

In support of the internal quality assurance system and in preparation for the upcoming Internal Quality Audit (AIM), the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FMUB), held a Workshop on the Preparation of the 2025 Management Review Document. The event took place on Wednesday, October 16, 2025, at the Graha Medika Hall, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, and was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, Prof. Dr. dr. Wisnu Barlianto, M.Si.Med, Sp.A(K), along with the faculty leadership team and Persons in Charge (PICs) from related divisions.

The event began with welcoming remarks and a speech from the Dean, who emphasized the importance of management review activities as an integral part of the continuous quality assurance cycle. In his address, he stated that the management review serves as a platform for reflecting on performance achievements and formulating strategic steps for more targeted quality improvement.

Following the opening session, dr. Bayu Lestari, M.Biomed., Ph.D. continued the event with a briefing on the mechanism for compiling and finalizing the management review document. In her presentation, she explained the document structure, key indicators, and evaluation methods used in the management review process—whether conducted quarterly, semiannually, or annually.

After the briefing, PICs from each division proceeded with discussions and independent work sessions to draft their respective sections of the document based on evaluation results from their units. The activities included reporting on performance achievements, identifying non-conformities, and formulating improvement recommendations to be followed up as part of the quality improvement cycle.

In the final session, each PIC presented their progress, shared strategic issues, and discussed potential solutions and follow-up actions needed to finalize the Management Review Document.

This workshop was part of a series of preparatory activities for the Internal Quality Audit (AIM) at the Faculty of Medicine, aimed at ensuring that all academic and non-academic processes comply with established quality standards.
