Collegium giving 1 2021

Collegium Giving or commonly known as KG is a new work program from the Ministry of Social, Community and Environment BEM FK UB 2021. Basically, humans are social creatures, where in fulfilling their needs cannot be separated from the role of others. This is the background for holding the Collegium Giving 2021 work program. This work program is a means to foster a sense of concern for UB Medical Faculty students towards others as a form of student service in the field of health to the surrounding environment and people in need, as well as a form of real action and appreciation for people. -people who have worked hard during the pandemic.

Collegium Giving 2021 is held in 2 executions, both offline and online, namely on Saturday, 01 May 2021 and Friday, 27 August 2021. This work program carries the theme “Sharing Happiness in Simplicity”. The first execution has been carried out on May 1, 2021 in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs, BEM FK UB 2021 X Putra Putri, Faculty of Medicine UB. This activity was carried out in the Big Market of Malang City and Kebalen Market of Malang City by giving alms in the form of 200 boxes of boxed rice as an iftar menu and also distributing takjil. The boxed rice and takjil were given to targets in need such as cleaners, rickshaw drivers, parking attendants, and others with funds from donations.

By doing this activity, it is hoped that it can foster students’ social awareness of the importance of sharing with others in need and can also help and appreciate the targets for their hard work. This activity was attended by Kak Primus Muhammad Ihza Kusuma as Student President of BEM FK UB 2021, Kak Ida Ayu Natasya Gabriella as representative of the Putra Putri Faculty of Medicine UB, and the volunteers of the Collegium Giving Family BEM Suar Cita 2021.

The next execution in Collegium Giving is a challenge for UB Medical Faculty students and the general public which will be held online on 27 August 2021. This challenge is done by giving charity through an online motorcycle taxi application by ordering food, drinks, staples, or other appropriate gifts. and give it to the online motorcycle taxi driver who got the order at that time.
