The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, welcomed a visit from SMA Islam Az Azhar 28 IIBS Karanganyar on Friday, October 31, 2025. The event was attended by 61 students and 9 accompanying teachers who came with great enthusiasm to learn more about the academic environment and educational processes at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FMUB).
The visit was officially opened by Muhammad Zakia Firdaus, M.Pd., Vice Principal of SMA Islam Az Azhar 28 IIBS Karanganyar, who in his remarks expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, to share knowledge and experience.
The program then continued with a presentation session delivered by Dr. Diah Royani Meisani, M.Pd., Staff under the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Student Entrepreneurship at FMUB. In her presentation, she provided a comprehensive explanation of the Faculty’s profile, the student admission process, the stages and system of medical education, as well as the career prospects and opportunities for graduates in the future.
Through this activity, students gained new insights into higher education, particularly in the field of medicine. It is expected that this school visit will inspire and motivate the students of SMA Islam Az Azhar 28 IIBS Karanganyar to continue striving for their dreams, pursue higher education at Universitas Brawijaya, and foster the spirit of young generations to excel and contribute to the field of health.
