Since 2013, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Brawijaya is carrying out FMUB Writing Motion (Gerakan FKUB Menulis) to increase civitas academica’s ability to write, compose, produce and publish scientific publication, such as dissertation, thesis, professors’ ideas, research result and any other scientific ideas and thought; which are all may become source for writing a book. All civitas academica are facilitated to produce book(s) that are derived from their works and ideas through ethical process and free from plagiarism. Regarding to this, FMUB held facilitation to prevent plagiarism through Workshop of Plagiarism Prevention on 13 May 2013.
Aim:
- General aim of this program is to increase quality of scientific products, which are manifested as original book(s) without plagiarism
- Special aims of this program are as follow:
a) To give clear explanation about plagiarism, why it is important and how to prevent it from happening throughout the effort of writing any scientific manuscript
b) To increase civitas academica’s ability to explore and write down their ideas and scientific works into books that are useful for source of studying and free from plagiarism
