This February,precisely on 4 and 5 February 2016 delegation of men and women basketball teams Medical Faculty of Brawijaya headed to attend annual event for Solo Medical Cup 2016 held by Medical Faculty,University of SebelasMaret Surakarta.
First match, the men’s team metthe men’s team of Medical Faculty, University of Muhammadiyah Semarang and managed to win with a score 38-8 and the women’s met the women’s team of Medical Faculty,University of LambungMangkurat with a score of 30-13 was won by the women’s team.
Second match the men’s team defeated the men’s team of Medical Faculty,University of SebelasMaret Surakarta and won with a score 17-18, the women’s team met with women’s team B of Medical Faculty,University of SebelasMaret Surakarta and managed to win with score 94-2.So the men’s team won the first position of the group and qualify for the quarter-finals and the women’s team to qualify for the quarter-finals.
At the quarter-finlasmen’s team defeated the men’s team of Medical Faculty,University of Dipenogoro with the score 35-21 and the men’s team qualify to the semifinal round.
At the semifinal,the men’s team gained the victory after defeated the men’s team of Medical Faculty,University ofAndalaswith a score of 32-28, but the women’s team was defeated by the women’s team of Medical Faculty, University of Airlangga with a score 23-24 after over time,so the men’s team to qualify to the final against the men’s team Medical Faculty,University of SebelasMaret Surakarta and the women’s team went into the third place competition against the women’s teamof Medical Faculty,University of Lambung Mangkurat.
At the final round, with high morale and good teamwork men’s team beat the hosts with the final result 53-40 and won the title Champion of Solo Medical Cup 2016 and the women’s team won the 3rd place after beatthe women’s teamMedical Faculty,University of LambungMangkuratwith the final result 54-11 (student of Medical faculty for Public Relations Ofiicer Medical faculty Of Brawijaya University)
