After the successful accreditation at ASEAN level, the Asean University Network Quality Assurance (AUNQA) in August, at the end of 2016 the Master Program of Biomedical Sciences (PMIB) Faculty of Medicine Universitas Brawijaya (FKUB) undergo accreditation from Independent Higher Education Accreditation of Health (LAM-PTKES) for two days on 29-30 December 2016.
On this LAM-PTKes Accreditation, Prof. Dr. dr. Suradi, SpP (K), MARS from Sebelas Maret University Surakarta (UNS) and Dr. dr. Nina Kumala Sari, SpPD from University of Indonesia (UI) became the assessor of accreditation.
The head of Master Program of Biomedical Science Prof. Dr. dr. Sumarno, DMM, SpMK (K) stated that in the last period of his position as the head of PMIB there were two accreditations which had been held consecutively. He hopes that PMIB will get maximum results because it had been supported by a team of young and energetic task force.
The Dean of FKUB Dr. dr. Sri Andarini, M. Kes in her speech said that PMIB has an excellent progress. Lots of enthusiasts want to join the study program, even now PMIB already has international students from Libya and Palestine.
Chairman of Assessor Team Prof. Dr. dr. Suradi, SpP (K), MARS from Sebelas Maret University Surakarta (UNS) congratulated PMIB on the hard work that has resulted a great success in AUNQA process. He believed that the quality management and education quality of PMIB was admirable therefore UNS may need to learn from the success of PMIB in the preparation of AUNQA accreditation.
