The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FM UB), once again celebrates the achievement of new prospective professional doctors. A total of 28 students from the Medical Doctor Profession Program were officially inaugurated at the Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, with the highest GPA of 3.85 achieved by Farrel Withartha. The event took place in the 10th-floor auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine Education Building, Universitas Brawijaya, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, following the students’ completion of clinical rotations and their successful passing of the National Medical Competency Examination (August 2025 period).
The ceremony began with the reading of the official report by the Head of the Medical Doctor Profession Program, Dr. Rodhiyan Rakhmatiar, Sp.S(K), followed by the signing of the decree and an opening address by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, Prof. Dr. dr. Wisnu Barlianto, M.Si.Med., Sp.A(K). In his remarks, the Dean expressed his appreciation and pride for the students’ accomplishments in completing the medical profession stage, hoping that the knowledge and experience they have gained will serve as valuable preparation for the next phase of their journey.
The Chairman of the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) Malang Branch delivered a session on Medical Ethics, providing essential guidance for the new doctors as members of IDI in their future medical practice. This was followed by a presentation from the Head of the International Relations Office (IRO) FK UB on Promoting Interest in Further Studies, encouraging alumni to take an active role in pursuing advanced education and professional development.
