Master Program in Biomedical Sciences (PSMIB) had organized an Online Field Assessment (ALD) visitation from the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (IAAHEH) on 12-13 October 2021. PSMIB is the second Study Program in the Faculty of Medicine to accredit nine criteria following the Master Program in Hospital Management (HMMP)
The first session of the activity was the introduction of the assessors, Dr. Wawaimuli Arozal, M. Biomed, Ph.D. (Universitas Indonesia), and Dr.dr. Eti Poncorini Pamungkasari., MPd (Universitas Sebelas Maret). Next was a Management Unit in Study Program (UPPS) presentation by the Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Dr.dr.Wisnu Barlianto, Sp.A (K), which was continued by Head of Study Program, Dr. Agustina Tri Endarti, SSi, Ph.D.
The next session was the elaboration of the Quality Assurance Center (GJM) that was delivered by Dr.dr.Viera Wardhani, M.Kes. The presentation of middle management was represented by Suminarti, SE, M.AP. (Head of Administration), Dr. dr. Tita Hariyanti, M.Kes. (Dean II), and dr. Holipah, Ph.D. (Head of Center and Communication System).
After the presentation, the next session was clarification by the assessors by confirming the data that UPPS or the Study Program has delivered. The first day’s closing was marked with a live virtual tour via Zoom application to look around the rooms and laboratories in the Faculty of Medicine and public facilities at Universitas Brawijaya. The event was hosted by dr.Aulia Rahmi Pawestri, Ph.D. with student and IT team.
The second day’s agenda was interviewing the lecturers, students, stakeholders, and educational staff. Furthermore, the assessor delivered a report, followed by feedback from UPPS, Study Program, and GJM. The entire series of events was closed with the signature of the ALD report and giving suggestions and recommendations.
