Malang, July 3, 2025 – The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FMUB) continues to demonstrate its commitment to establishing an Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Area (ZI-WBK) by holding a Socialization and Workshop on the Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (POS) in accordance with Rector Regulation UB No. 111 of 2024, while also strengthening the understanding of monitoring and evaluation (monev) steps for POS within FKUB.
The event, held at Graha Medika Building 2nd Floor, featured speakers from the Universitas Brawijaya Quality Assurance Institute, FKUB’s Internal Quality Assurance Group (GJM), and FKUB’s Information and Public Relations Management (PSIK). It was attended by heads of work units, laboratory heads, and monev administrators from various departments and service units.
According to Dr. Husnul Khotimah, S.Si, M.Kes, Vice Dean for General Affairs, Finance, and Resources, this activity is a strategic step in supporting Integrity Zone Area II (Governance), which emphasizes the importance of providing clear and transparent public information, while also aligning with Integrity Zone Area VI (Improvement of Public Service Quality).
“With standardized POS and a systematic monitoring and evaluation mechanism, FKUB can ensure that every service runs according to procedures, is accountable, and continuously evaluated for sustainable improvement. This is not just about administration, but about public trust in the quality of our services,” she stated.
In the workshop session, participants actively drafted and revised their respective unit’s POS based on the latest format mandated by Rector Regulation UB No. 111 of 2024. The monev session emphasized that monitoring is not about finding mistakes, but about ensuring implementation aligns with established standards and identifying follow-up actions.
The outcome of this activity is a set of revised POS drafts from all FKUB work units, which will be finalized and endorsed by the faculty leadership. FKUB will also schedule regular POS monitoring and evaluation cycles to ensure effective implementation and foster a work culture that is more transparent, efficient, and service-oriented.
Through these concrete steps, FKUB hopes to further strengthen governance and public services, which are key indicators in achieving an Integrity Zone towards WBK status.
