Faculty of Medicine- Universitas Brawijaya (FMUB) had held a work meeting to review and identify routine job descriptions and duties and functions of Education Personnel. 241 Education Personnel and PLP of FMUB (both civil servants and non-civil servants) participated in the Review of Main Duties and Functions of Education Personnel. The Verification was led by the Facilitator, which was carried out in 2 batches. This set of activities was held for two days, Tuesday – Wednesday (27-28/10/21) at The Convention Hall A, The Singhasari Resort, Batu City.
Chairman of the Committee, Dr. dr. Tita Hariyanti, M.Kes, in her report stated, this activity is an effort of FMUB as an extensive faculty. The review and identification activities were not in the context of assessment, but identification of routine and non-routine job descriptions of tasks and activities of the participants.
Since FMUB is considered as a major faculty, reviewing the work-related activities in the Department, Study Program, or work unit in FKUB is needed. This is very important for the procedure and basis for promotion and transfer or mutation of employees in FMUB said the lecturer who now serves as The Head of Master in Hospital Management FMUB.
On the same occasion, the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance of FMUB, Dr. dr. Masruroh Rahayu, M.Kes, in her speech, also said, “Yesterday, you were asked to fill out a G-form related to what you have done. Now, you will be verified by the facilitators. Don’t hesitate to convey what are the daily routines and additional tasks”.
Furthermore, the FMUB Lecturer who once served as the Head of the Medical Department added a basic working guideline. Our guideline in working is to serve. This is important since the purpose of FKUB is to serve customers to achieve customer satisfaction, good customer service, convenience in service, and speed in service, and affordability, she hoped.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FMUB, Dr. dr. Wisnu Barlianto, MSi., Med., SpA (K), in his speech, expressed his gratitude for the appreciation from all of the participants and the committees who have attended and prepared this activity.
The Dean emphasized that so far, what has been a problem with the main tasks of education staff; I think we have discussed it for a long time, especially if there is a rotation, because until now there is no standard or standard guideline for the rotation of educational staff, making it a little difficult to transfer or rotate the tendons. However, in the future, it is hoped that with this activity, we can make a guideline that makes it easier for the rotation and placement of tendons wherever the father and mother will be assigned will not be a problem anymore.
The Dean then informed that Government Regulation number 108 of 2021 concerning a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH) had been issued, meaning that Brawijaya University as PTNBH is considered ready and capable of managing assets. There is an independent financial management authority by the Ministry of Finance. We are allowed to Open business services and recruit human resources with our financing.
In addition, later FMUB will also manage optimally, especially in services at the Laboratory. I hope that with this activity, our target is to strengthen human resources, and good cooperation is needed so that we are ready to provide even better services.
The facilitators also verified job descriptions, divided into 12 groups by the facilitators, and delivered material and discussions about staffing, regulations, and policies. (PR – FMUB)
