FKUB Alumni Association Sets Up a Fund to Build Supporting Corridor

Alumni are a vital element for the progress of an educational institution, one of which is the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya. The role of FMUB Alumni is indispensable in all respects, which previously had succeeded in gathering and helping to establish a mosque. Now, the FMUB Alumni Association has contributed by building a supporting corridor which the Dean of FMUB commenced on Tuesday (11/10/22 ).

The chairman of the FMUB Alumni Association, dr. Aries Budianto, Sp.B., expressed his gratitude to the implementing team and the supervisory team for the corridor construction donations from alumni at FMUB. He hopes that this connecting corridor can be beneficial for all academic communities. The existence of this corridor is expected to be able to support the educational program at FMUB.

On the same occasion, the Dean of FMUB, Dr. dr. Wisnu Barlianto, MSi., Med., Sp.A (K) also expressed his gratitude to the Alumni Chair, Head of Development, and all FMUB Alumni who have contributed to building supporting corridors (hallway). He also mentions that this corridor is needed to support the education process as access to the Common Learning Building (GPB). “In this building, there are skills lab services, computer labs, deans and administration buildings which are also used by almost all departments and this is very helpful to support educational activities in FMUB,” said the lecturer who had served as Secretary of the Department of Medicine.

Dr. Wisnu also hopes that in the future, students can optimize this facility at least to reduce crowds and make learning comfortable. Next year we will build a gazebo that can be used as a place for outdoor learning by all FMUB students.

We appreciate all FMUB alumni who have initiated the construction of this corridor. We hope there will be scholarship funds for our prospective students in the future.
