Advanced School of Medicine (STKM) is an inseparable part of history since it was indeed the starting point of the FKUB entitlement as a faculty of medicine. The alumni showed their concern for the better of FKUB by agreeing to build fishpond and hall to support the better learning atmosphere for everyone, as stated yesterday (17/9).
The agreement was stated in the great reunion and the first-stone installment for fishpond and hall, which are located at the south wing’s entrance door of FKUB’s newest building. This event was attended by STKM alumni from 1963 to 1973. The dean of FKUB, Dr. dr. Sri Andarini also attended the event, accompanied by Vice Dean of General Affair and Finance, Prof. Dr. dr. Loeki Enggar Fitri, M.Kes., Sp.ParK, and all alumni of STKM, whether those who are now part of lecturer in FKUB and those who has devoted themselves outside of the faculty.
In his speech, the representative of STKM Alumni, Dr. dr. Sugiharta Tandya, Sp.PK stated that the construction of fishpond and hall aims to support the education atmosphere for students in FKUB in the future. They hoped that the sites will be the place where students can gather, discuss and study together. The Dean was honored by the dedication of the Alumni, she stated that the thought itself was wonderful, moreover being made as real. The contribution of alumni is always appreciated, in order to make FKUB a better place for everybody. Moreover, it is also a part that becomes highly anticipated when BANPT and LAMPTKes accreditation takes place. Therefore, as now the faculty is facing another accreditation, she is thankful and really appreciate all the effort made by the alumni. (An4nk-HumasFKUB; translated by Siwi)
