Enhancing Public Service Quality: UB’s Bureaucratic Reform Division Conducted Monitoring and Evaluation of Integrity Zone Implementation at FMUB

In support of improving the quality of public services and committing to becoming a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and a Clean Serving Bureaucratic Zone (WBBM) within Brawijaya University, the Bureaucratic Reform (RB) Division of Brawijaya University FMUB carried out a series of Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities on Tuesday, June 25. These activities were focused on the implementation and application of the Integrity Zone at FMUB.

During the Monev, held in the Senate Room on the 9th floor of GPB FMUB, the RB UB team reviewed and assessed both data and field conditions regarding the implementation and application at FMUB. This event was attended by the Dean of FMUB, accompanied by the Vice Deans, Department Heads, Structural Officials, and the Integrity Zone team members from within FMUB. Dean of FMUB, Dr. Wisnu Barlianto, MSi., Med., Sp.A (K), welcomed the Monev, stating that despite possible shortcomings in its implementation, the faculty strives to provide the best services to the academic community, stakeholders, and the public at FMUB.

He added that as one of the largest faculties with the most study programs at Brawijaya University, FMUB faces numerous challenges, including service complaints and other issues. Collaboration with the main Teaching Hospital and several network hospitals, as a government-owned hospital in East Java Province, has already implemented an Integrity Zone in line with FMUB. He expressed hope that Monev would provide constructive feedback and suggestions to improve services and implement the ZI at FMUB.

During the Monev, the team from Brawijaya University’s Bureaucratic Reform Division discussed and evaluated six areas of change, which are critical to achieving the goals of developing an integrity zone towards WBK/WBBM. These six areas of change include Change Management, Organizational Arrangement, HR Management Arrangement, Accountability Strengthening, Supervision Strengthening, and Public Service Quality Improvement.
