Workshop on Assessment in Odd Semester for Medicine Study Program

In order to produce a doctor that is able to serve the public in accordance with the Standards of Competence Indonesian Doctors Association (SKDI), the Medicine Study Program (FKUB) held a Workshop on Medical Assessment Program on Tuesday (11.10.16).
Event Chairman, dr. Agustin Iskandar, M.Kes, SpPK, in her report said that the event was attended by 41 lecturers which were were divided into semesters 1, 3, 5 and 7. Basically the Medicine Study Program has been carrying out education with competency based curriculum (KBK) since 2007 which is based on “outcomes” approach using the area of organizing and competence of SKDI component in the design, implementation and assessment and evaluation of students.
On the same occasion, Dean of FKUB, Dr. dr. Sri Andarini, M.Kes, in her speech also said assessment is necessary to ensure that every graduate match the required competence as well as the conditions set by the Indonesian Medical Council (KKI). Therefore, it is necessary to make the asessment system truly valid, reliable, objective and feasible, including, creating questions in the context of measuring and assessing the achievement of a certain level of competence.
